Dropbox
File references on every entity, per-folder access scoping, and versioning preserved.
What's connected
ThorStack attaches references to Dropbox files and folders on CRM deals, contacts, tasks, and notes. The data plane stays in Dropbox — we don't copy file bytes into our object storage.
How attachments work
- From any record, click Attach → Dropbox.
- Pick the file or folder. We store the link, the metadata, and the access scope.
- Anyone in ThorStack with permission to view that record sees the attachment. Clicking opens it in Dropbox with their own Dropbox auth.
Per-folder scoping
You can limit ThorStack's view to specific folders during connect. ThorStack only knows about files inside those folders — even if the connecting user has broader access on Dropbox.
Versioning
Dropbox version history is preserved. The reference points to the file (not a snapshot), so opening it always shows the current version. Past versions remain accessible through Dropbox's UI.
Audit
Every reference creation, view, and removal is logged in Audit logs.
